Horizon Europe handbook

The new Horizon Europe program aims to be an evolution of the Horizon 2020 framework program, and will have a very high proposed budget, making it the largest R & D & i funding program to date in the European Union.

The composition of the Horizon Europe program will continue being structured on three pillars:

New concept: the «Missions»

They will not be traditional R&D programs, but large intersectoral and multidisciplinary initiatives around five identified intersectoral and interdisciplinary areas to solve challenges and problems, with a focusing inspired by the Apollo 11 mission that landed man on the moon.
